“Working Girl Breaks the Mold with New book!”

PRESS RELEASE:
January 15th, 2010
“Working Girl Breaks the Mold with New book!”
Wyandotte, Michigan native and current Clawson, Michigan resident Lisa Ball has forged a new horizon with the publication of her revealing and edgy novella “Booze House,” a semi-autobiographical story about surviving a home-life plagued with alcohol abuse and the responsibilities of caring for an autistic brother.
After experiencing the same disappointments and setbacks in her 9-5 office job that so many have in the recent Michigan economy, Lisa determined to make her own opportunities founded the publishing company called William Joseph K Publications, named in memory of her younger brother.
Since then she has become responsible for the publication of 6 different titles, and over a dozen authors. The most daunting project however was her own book.
“There are many parts of my upbringing that are painful for me to relive, but writing has always been a kind of therapy for me.” Lisa Ball
Although she still maintains her Troy office job, Lisa is now selling her books on Amazon and Barnes & Noble online, and maintains an active appearance schedule as a guest author.
